One of the pilots of the Russian long-range bomber Tu-22M3, which was shot down today in the Stavropol Territory, has died. This was announced by the regional governor Vladimir Vladimirov, Dialog.UA reports.
According to a Russian official, the “third crew member” of the crashed aircraft lost his life. The fate of the fourth remains unknown; they are still looking for him.
Z-military officers, for their part, assure that the jet commander is among those liquidated.
Also, according to their data, the fourth “missing” pilot became “cargo 200”.
The Tu-22M3 crashed in the Russian Stavropol region on the morning of April 19. This happened when the plane was returning to its place of deployment after participating in a massive shelling of Ukraine.
In total, three Tu-22M3 bombers took part in today's attack. They launched Kh-22 missiles into Ukraine from the area of occupied Sevastopol.
