External Investigation Service Officer: Russian Army May ‘Lose It’

With a possible military coup as a result.

Head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the commanders of military districts, appointed a new Minister of Defense Andrei Belousov and, as always, said that “everything is going according to plan” for him. Such personnel changes are beneficial for Ukraine.

This opinion was expressed to Channel 24 by ex-KGB and Foreign Intelligence Service employee Sergei Zhirnov, noting that disturbances in the Ministry of Defense will lead Russia to collapse. He also suggested that a military coup could occur in Russia.

According to Zhirnov, the change of the military cabinet in Russia is very good news for Ukraine. Such a disturbance in the central apparatus of the Ministry of Defense will lead to its paralysis within 6 months.

“Whenever a new minister comes, new deputies will then perhaps replace one of the heads of military districts, then they will replace commanders of military units, etc. The result will be a complete collapse of the Ministry of Defense,” noted the ex-KGB officer.

In the Ministry of Defense now, according to Zhirnov, everyone will be afraid to take bribes. Because of this, various issues will not be resolved.

“The army, which is accustomed to the robbery of billions, may lose it; a military coup may occur in Russia,” suggested the ex-KGB officer.

The system that Sergei Shoigu built was based on bribes, but at the same time it worked poorly. Now there may be a moment when Belousov will try to remove all this.

“They can restore order to such an extent that nothing will work at all,” Zhirnov added.
