Afipsky Oil Refinery was hit.
On the night of May 2, drones attacked the Afipsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar region of Russia. Locals reported “engine sounds” in the sky and three explosions.
This is reported by the Russian Telegram channel SHOT.
It is reported that explosions could be heard over the village of Afipsky. It is assumed that the drones flew towards a local oil refinery.
According to eyewitnesses, the first explosion over the village was heard at 3:10 am local time. After that, the Russians still heard the sound of the engine running in the sky, and then two more explosions. RosMedia suggested that the drones were shot down or planted by electronic warfare.
It should be noted that the governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, did not react to the incident at the time of writing the news.
UAV attack on Smolensk region
The governor of the Smolensk region, Vasily Anokhin, said on the morning of May 2 that the region was attacked by allegedly Ukrainian UAVs.
"On the territory of the Roslavl district, the enemy attempted to damage the civil energy infrastructure. There are no casualties. Emergency and law enforcement services are working at the scene," he wrote.
Recall that in three regions of Russia they complained about shelling and drone raids from Ukraine. Thus, the governors of the Orel and Kursk regions reported that as a result of the raids, power lines were damaged. Some Russians were left without electricity. Also, the work of the Russian air defence forces was reported in the Bryansk region.
Also, Ukraine told about the construction of an airfield in the Belgorod region. A distance of 75 km will allow you to effectively hit the object with Ukrainian-made weapons.
