US State Department: Aid From Previous Packages Has Already Reached Frontlines In Ukraine

The US has already prepared a new package.

Ukraine has already received previous aid packages from the United States after the approval of the corresponding decision by Congress, weapons are already on the front line. This is stated in a statement by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, published on May 24 on the website of the US State Department.

Blinken, in particular, informed about a new package of military assistance to Ukraine worth $275 million.

“This is the fifth aid package authorized by the President since the signing of the supplemental National Security Act, and the third package using the President's arms reduction authority,” the US Secretary of State noted. “Aid from previous packages has already reached the front lines, and we will deliver this new aid as quickly as possible so that the Ukrainian military can use it to defend their territory and protect the Ukrainian people.”

According to the Pentagon, the new package from the United States, in particular, included ammunition for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, 155-mm and 105-mm artillery shells, optically-guided missiles and anti-tank systems.
