Illegitimate Lukashenka Raving About Zelensky’s ‘Illegitimacy’

The usurper suddenly started talking about some “legal purity.”

Dictator Aliaksandr Lukashenka made a statement regarding the alleged “illegitimacy” of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Answering a question about the legitimacy of the Ukrainian leader, Lukashenka actually repeated the mantra of Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin that Zelensky is not a legitimate president. Belarusian propagandists quote him.

“As for the expiration of the powers of Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelensky, there is no legal purity here and cannot be. Because there is deep democracy there, you understand,” Lukashenka said.

The next presidential elections in Ukraine were scheduled to take place in the spring of 2024. However, Article 19 of the Law of Ukraine on the legal regime of martial law clearly states that under martial law (this regime in Ukraine has been in effect since February 24, 2022), it is prohibited to hold elections.

Let us note that Lukashenka himself has not been considered legitimate by Belarusians and Western countries for a long time.
