Drones Attack Moscow Region Of Russian Federation

On May 27, Balashikha in Moscow region of Russia was attacked by a drone. Governor Andrei Vorobyov reported about it on Telegram.

The official states that the drone was shot down by air defence.

"The debris fell on a private house. People who were in the house managed to evacuate, no one was hurt," he wrote, warning that residents may continue to "hear explosions."

The defence ministry of the aggressor country said a small-sized hot air balloon was destroyed in Moscow region at the same time.

The 112 Telegram channel, which co-operates with the Russian security forces, published a video of local residents who filmed the drone moving in the sky.

The channel also showed a photo of a house destroyed by the UAV.

The Beware of the News Telegram channel posted a video shot by a Russian woman from the window of a high-rise building in Moscow Region.

"People, honestly, my hands are shaking. God, it's never been so scary before. It blew up straight here, all the alarms went off. All the people from the playground ran away, it's not clear just where the sound was coming from..... Tough," she says in the video.
