Missile Flying Very Low: Russian Federation Hits Kyiv

A video of the missile flying ‘lower than a Soviet apartment block’ has been released.

The armed forces of the Russian Federation shelled Kyiv with the use of rocket weapons. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv city military administration on Friday, May 31.

According to the KCMA, the Russians used cruise missiles during the attack. As a result of falling debris in Goloseevsky district of the city there was a fire in a non-residential premises. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

It should be noted that the AFU command has not yet commented on what type of weaponry the Russian Armed Forces attacked with, but warned about flying high-speed targets in the direction of Kyiv.

The Missile Flew Very Low

Local Telegram channels published videos of the missile's flight. According to the Real Kyiv channel, which cites eyewitnesses, the missile flew at a height ‘lower than a Soviet apartment block.’

‘It's really a horror at what height it was flying. Lower than a Soviet apartment block. You can see smoke on the ground, but no fire. Probably the remnants of the downed missile,’ the public page quoted an eyewitness as saying.

An AFU officer stated on the ‘Colonel GSH’ Telegram channel that a fragment of the battery tank of the 9M727 Iskander-K cruise missile, which was shot down by air defence systems over the region on May 31, had been found in Kyiv region.
