ATACMS Left Huge Holes In Russian Ferries In Crimea

Close-up imagery has been published.

Two Russian ferries in the Crimea were damaged as a result of an attack by air weapons of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, which took place on the night of May 30.

In the footage from the scene you can see the deck broken through and the side destroyed. The consequences of the night strike were reported on the Astra Telegram channel.

The note, published on the night of May 31, included four photographs of damaged ferries. Three photographs of destruction on the Avangard ferry, one on the Conroe Trader ferry. On the Avangard, the wooden deck is noticeably broken by shrapnel.

You can also see how in one place on the Avangard deck there is a through hole in the coating.

The side of the Conroe Trader was blown off, as a photo taken from a distance shows. There is no information about whether there is any other damage.

Both ferries sailed from Kerch to the port of Kavkaz in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, data from the Marinetraffic monitoring portal confirms. Avangard is a ship with a length of 133 meters and a width of 22 meters. Conroe Trader is 109 meters long and 21.5 meters wide.

In addition to civilian passengers and cargo, ferries could be used to transport Russian weapons, as they write in the analytical Telegram channel “Military Prophet”. As evidence, a photograph of the deck on which lies a container for transporting shells for the Buk air defense system has been published.
