The Russian society is already ready for the end of the war.

So, the new Russian Defence Minister refused to talk to the wives of the mobilized soldiers. What would they do now?

For example, they will say that the so-called Special Military Operation has de facto turned into a war for territories, and they do not agree that their loved ones should die because of the land. We, they say, cannot equip our own land, what for should we capture someone else's?..

A couple of years ago, Putin said that "the advanced development of the Far East is our long-term and absolute priority." At the last Far Eastern Economic Forum, he complained that the outflow of population from this region could not be stopped. The wives of the mobilized soldiers could promise that immediately after the demobilization of their husbands, they were ready to go with them to raise this very Far East. So to speak, to compensate for the outflow of population.

The authorities, of course, will not agree to this option, but society will record the passionate desire of women to return their husbands, their willingness to dialogue, willingness to sacrifice household amenities and decisively redesign their lives. People will see that no wives are foreign agents, they are really unhappy people who try to rescue their loved ones by any means.

Among other things, this proposal will put on the agenda a topic that demonstrates the logical weakness of the position of the authorities. Indeed, it turns out to be silly: "We do not want an inch of our land, but we will not give away even a piece to someone else either."

All this can be done under the hashtag #HurrayWeWonGoHome At the beginning of this operation, Putin declared it the main task of ensuring the security of Russia, and not the seizure of foreign lands. He said about the latter: "Our plans do not include the occupation of Ukrainian territories." "So," the wives may say, "Ukraine has suffered such colossal damage, Russia has demonstrated such power that now there is no doubt that they will not look at us. Even if they had such plans, they were now convinced that these plans were insane. Ukrainians, Americans, and Europeans learned for sure that our army is invincible, right? Putin told us about it himself. And if so, then grab your coat, and let's go home."

The strength of this position is that it is entirely based on the arguments of Russian propaganda. No one will punish you for telling you that victory over the enemy has already been achieved. People will also like this idea, so many will enthusiastically support it. Two months ago, the Levada Center asked the Russians if they would approve of Putin's decision if he announced the end of the SVO (so-called Special Military Operation - the war actually - Ed.) right now. 71% answered they would support it.

Their society is ready to end the war. This desire must be exteriorized. Make out in the form of appeals.
