Former KVN Player Detained In Belarus

For filming in a police uniform.

Belarusian enforcers detained host Kiryl Allahverdzian. He is accused of “promoting extremist activities” because he was filmed in a police uniform in a Belsat video. The Viasna HRC reported this on Telegram.

Allahverdzian is known as a KVN player (humour game and show). He played in the First League of the International KVN Union, in 2015-2016 - in the major league (team "Best Friends").

He was also a participant in Comedy Battle. Without Borders" (TNT channel) and other humorous projects. Recently he worked as a screenwriter and host.
