Belarusians Watching TV Less

They are fed up with propaganda.

More than half of the population of Belarus watch TV every day, and more than a quarter listen to the radio. Thinktanks has analysed the statistics for spring 2024.

According to mediameter.by, 52.84% of Belarusians watched TV every day in May 2024. Compared with the previous months, the figure has fallen significantly. In April 2024, the average daily audience coverage was 56.36%, in March - 58.33%.

There are no statistics on radio listeners for May 2024. In April, however, the average daily coverage of radio listening was 27.2%, in March - 26.8%.
