Drone Attacks Oil Depot In Tambov Region Of Russian Federation

The evacuation is being prepared.

In the morning of June 28, a drone attacked an oil depot in Michurinsk district of Tambov region of the Russian Federation. The Russians claim that it was "Ukrainian" and exploded on the territory of the enterprise, followed by a fire.

This was reported by the Russian media. According to them, the explosion in the said area occurred at around 04:35 Friday.

"A fire started at the scene. Operational services are now working," the Russian media wrote.

Tambov Region Governor Maxim Egorov confirmed the fact, assuring that "there are no victims."

The Russian media claimed that the fire was small, but the official said in his speech that it was being extinguished by the oil depot fire brigade and 11 fire brigades of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. They have allegedly localised the fire.

The governor added that the distance from the oil depot to the nearest settlement is 3 kilometres, so residents will be evacuated if necessary.
