Pro-Russian MEP Expelled From European Parliament Meeting

Because of shameful behaviour.

The odious far-right and anti-Ukrainian MEP Diana Șoșoacă was expelled from the plenary session of the European Parliament. The reason for this was her scandalous and unacceptable behaviour towards her colleagues.

This happened during the debate on the re-election of Ursula von der Leyen as President of the European Commission. Șoșoacă tried to interrupt the speech of the MEP from the Revival group, Valérie Hayer. Therefore, the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, called for Șoșoacă to be removed from the hall so that she would not disrupt the meeting.

Obviously, Șoșoacă did not expect such a reaction, so she continued to demonstrate her dissatisfaction.

"How many colleagues do we need to take you out of the hall? I think you have said enough,” said Roberta Metsola.
