Iryna Farion Dies In Hospital After Assassination Attempt

“According to my information, Iryna Farion died at 23.30,” Lviv City Council deputy Ihor Zinkevich also reported.

The former Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Svoboda party was shot this evening in Lviv. During the assassination attempt, she was seriously wounded and hospitalized.

The patient was admitted to the emergency room at the hospital at about 20:00. At the time of admission, her condition was very serious. Doctors fought for her life for more than three hours, but could not do anything.

Farion's killer, according to the latest information, has not yet been detained.
