Biden To Address Americans First Time Since Withdrawing From Election

The US President will talk about how he will finish the job for the American people.

US President Joe Biden will deliver a speech to the Americans on the evening of July 24. The head of state wrote about this in X. This is the first public event with the participation of the head of state after he announced his withdrawal from the presidential race.

“Tomorrow evening at 8:00 pm Eastern Time (04:00 am Minsk time on July 25), I will address the nation from the Oval Office and talk about what lies ahead for me, and how I will finish the job for the American people,” Biden wrote.

Biden himself announced his intention to deliver a speech to the Americans on the day he announced his decision to decline re-election. This was stated in his statement published in X. The president notes that the speech will take place this week.

Later, NBC reported, citing sources, that Biden and his aides were preparing a speech in which he intended to explain to Americans the reasons for his decision to drop out of the race.
