Blinken Vouches For Kamala Harris In Foreign Policy

The US secretary of state said foreign policy is ‘a very strong suit of hers’.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken praised the role of Vice President Kamala Harris in the foreign policy of the Biden administration, thus showing support for the likely candidate for the presidency of the United States.

Asked whether foreign policy is Harris' strong suit, given her focus on domestic policy before she became vice president, the secretary of state said that ’it's a very strong suit of hers′.

‘Over the last three and a half years, I've had the opportunity to watch her very closely in the Situation Room, in the Oval Office, around the world, as the leading voice of American foreign policy and our diplomacy,’ Blinken noted.

He recalled her repeated trips to the Indo-Pacific and a trip to Africa, and said she ‘ran the room’ at the high-profile Munich Security Conference in Germany, attended by world leaders and national security experts.
