Up to 100 people could have been hurt in a train crash near Russia's Volgograd, Interfax reported, citing operational services.
Russian Railways said the driver of a KamAZ truck drove onto a railway crossing and crashed into a passing passenger train. As a result, eight carriages went off the rails. The traffic on the site is suspended.
The lorry driver was hospitalised, Interior Ministry spokeswoman Irina Volk said.
