One Of The Most Successful AFU Operations

One Of The Most Successful AFU Operations

It had a huge impact on the course of the war.

The photos after the SBU drones stroke at the Lipetsk-2 air base make it possible to confidently say that this is one of the most successful operations of the Ukrainian Defence Forces in recent months. Why? Because, in addition to aircraft and helicopters, it was one of the largest warehouses of the enemy's KAB.

More than 700 aerial bombs were stored at Lipetsk-2! Most of the aircraft located at the Lipetsk-2 military airfield did not have time to take off, writes Olekasandr Chernenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the VIII convocation (2014-2019), political expert for censor.net.

What's next? Then a strike by Ukrainian drones, a chain reaction and a powerful detonation. Moreover, the explosion was so powerful that the local authorities could not limit themselves to the traditional statement that all the drones were shot down, and the debris damaged something on the ground. The explosion was clearly heard in Lipetsk itself, and evacuation was announced from nearby settlements.

It is obvious that this hit by SBU drones will have a huge impact on the course of the war. Aircraft with KABs from Lipetsk actively struck the Kharkiv region. In addition, the time of the attack was chosen very precisely, which actually coincided with the beginning of the Kursk operation. The Russians would definitely have used the Lipetsk airfield on this front as well.

KABs are one of the main problems that the Armed Forces of Ukraine face at the front. And the SBU is systematically working on the storage sites of these weapons. It is important that all operations are carefully considered: the enemy was unable to stop either a repeat strike on Morozovsk, or the strike on Lipetsk-2 in just a week.

Finally, a few words about the Kursk operation. The events in this region are still shrouded in the "fog of war". And this is a strategically correct decision by the Ukrainians. The only thing we can say for sure is that after the strikes on Lipetsk-2, the enemy will have significantly fewer KABs.
