"I thought: 'How much useful medical equipment could you buy for an entire district or region?"

I always think with horror about going to the clinic. The first (and most important) is the lack of doctors. Especially hard with ophthalmologists and neurologists, there is no oncologist in our area, in the spring there was no gynecologist (they promised to send after distribution!)

Of course, you can't visit a doctor for money, but if salaries and working conditions were decent, then specialists would not run away from the country.

For 350,000, probably, it would be possible to buy equipment in the office of a laryngologist and ophthalmologist! I'm already silent about the Soviet chairs in the gynecology room.

And to be honest, we do not have an electronic queue or chairs at the offices in sufficient quantity. And in general, our public clinic looks like a monument to the Bolshevik past, the doors at the entrance and the windows have just been changed.

I go with pain in my hand to the therapist, since there is no neurologist. And how can she help me if she only has a blood pressure monitor? Unless the last time she supported me with a word, she said: thank God that your hand hurts (after the Russian vaccination against covid), since many of us have patients with eye complications after vaccination.

I laughed at it, but my hand kept me awake at night and never let me sleep.
