Hezbollah Launches Hundreds of Rockets Against Israel

Hezbollah said it fired more than 320 rockets against Northern Israel, as well as several drones. They allegedly fired at 11 military bases in Northern Israel. A video of a drone crashing into a highway has leaked online.

"Hezbollah is firing rockets and drones at Israel. Our air defense systems, naval ships and air force aircraft are protecting the country's skies, detecting and intercepting threats, and striking anywhere in Lebanon where it is necessary to eliminate threats and strike Hezbollah," said IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, quoted by The Times of Israel.

He also added that dozens of their aircraft are currently attacking targets in various areas of southern Lebanon to eliminate threats to the Israeli rear. Despite the attack, Israel is not interested in an escalation that would lead to war in Lebanon, a government source said.

"This is not an attack aimed at starting a war, but rather at eliminating a serious threat to millions of Israeli citizens. Continued escalation depends on Hezbollah's actions," the source said.
