Powerful Explosion Heard In Kyiv

After the Russian MiG-31K took off.

A powerful explosion was heard in the capital of Ukraine during the air alert following the takeoff of the Russian MiG-31K.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to its own correspondent.

The powerful explosion occurred in Kiev during the announcement of the third overnight air alert.

Prior to this, the Air Force reported the Russian MiG-31K taking off and the threat of ballistic weapons.

A strike UAV attack is also underway.

During the second air alert, explosions were heard in Kyiv . Authorities reported the work of air defence in the suburbs.

Explosions were also heard in Zaporizhzhia.

At about 23:20 on August 26, sounds of explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih during the air alert. Before that, the AFU Air Force warned about the threat of ballistic weapons being fired from the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. Local authorities reported damage to a civilian facility, deaths and casualties.
