Ukrainian Drones Attack Kirov Region Of Russian Federation For First Time

Drones attacked a petroleum product storage base in the town of Kotelnich, located in the western Kirov region of Russia, on August 28. There were no casualties and no fire, the Telegram-channel of the regional governor Alexander Sokolov reported at 10:40 Minsk time.
According to the Baza Telegram-channel, preliminary reports say that two drones attacked a warehouse with oil products at the Vyatka combine in the town of Kotelnich. One of them hit the lid of the tank. The second drone hit an empty tank.
It should be noted that this is the first attack on Kirov region by Ukrainian drones. The distance from the Ukrainian border to Kotelnich is about 1,200 kilometres.
