Ukrainian Forces Have Shown Launch Of Storm Shadow Missiles At Targets In Crimea For The First Time

The Ukrainian Air Force has for the first time released a video of the launch of Storm Shadow missiles at targets in occupied Crimea.

The video was published on August 4, Air Force Day, by the Commander of the Armed Forces Mykola Oleshchuk on Telegram. He noted that the defenders of the Ukrainian skies have done a lot to repel the aggressor in the air.

"Victory on the ground is forged in the sky! I addressed the commanders of the air forces of NATO countries with this slogan a year ago, calling on my colleagues to create a strong aviation coalition. We discussed the closed skies over Ukraine and the need to strengthen Ukrainian air defence with our partners even on the eve of the full-scale invasion because everyone understood how important it was to keep the skies clear. Therefore, we have taken many preparatory measures to withstand the blow and give a worthy rebuff to the enemy’s air attack,” Oleshchuk said.
