Main Intelligence Directorate Troops Land On Tendrovska Spit, Carry Out Secret Operation

Russian armoured vehicles and fortifications were destroyed.

Special Forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate carried out a brilliant operation in Kherson region. The troops of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry landed on the Tendrovska Spit. This is reported by the press service of the MID.

The raid on the Tendrovska spit took place on August 6, 2024. Special forces of the "Artan" Active Action Unit and the Marine Centre of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's MID carried out an operation in the northern part of the Black Sea.

"The special forces landing group landed on the Tendrovska Spit and destroyed enemy armoured vehicles, in particular MT-LBs, the enemy's electronic warfare system, as well as the fortifications of the Russians. The Russian invaders suffered casualties among their personnel during the battle - the exact number is being specified," the report says.

It is noted that after the successful fulfilment of the task, including one that can not be reported, the MID special forces returned without losses.

"This is not the first successful active measure of the MID special forces on the Tendrovska spit occupied by the Russians. The corresponding actions are only part of a large-scale plan of the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine, the implementation of which continues," said the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate.

Reference: Tendrovska Spit - a long narrow island in the northern part of the Black Sea, off the coast of Kherson region. Its western part turns into the White Kuchugury Spit. It belongs administratively to Skadovsk district of Kherson region.
