Man Accused Of Murdering Belarusian Woman In Warsaw Found Sane

He will stand trial.

The indictment is to be announced on August 9. Experts have found the suspect to be sane and capable of standing trial. This was reported to Belsat by Piotr Antoni Skiba, a spokesman for the Warsaw District Prosecutor's Office.

“An expert opinion has been received from psychiatrists, a psychologist and a sexologist, which contains the conclusion that the suspect is sane and can take part in pre-trial proceedings, as well as in court hearings.

At the same time, the experts do not question his state of consciousness and have not established that there was a moment or limitation of his consciousness. So he will stand trial. He is not mentally ill,” the spokesman for the Warsaw District Prosecutor's Office said.

25-year-old Liza was raped and murdered in central Warsaw on the night of February 25. 23-year-old Dorian S., who was detained shortly after the incident, is accused of this. Liza's personal belongings were found at his home.

According to preliminary information, the attacker put a knife to Liza's throat, raped and strangled her, and then left her unconscious on the ground. People found her only in the morning, but they were unable to save the girl. She was delivered to the intensive care department in serious condition, and died on March 1 without regaining consciousness.

Liza was buried at the Northern Cemetery in Warsaw.
