Panic Over Scattered ‘Torches With Explosives’ Breaks Out In Pinsk District

The authorities had to react.

The #1region Telegram channel, close to the authorities of Brest region, reported that there had appeared information in various chat rooms in Pinsk about allegedly dangerous torches with explosives. They say that the devices, which can explode in the hands, were scattered all over the district. The authors of the #1region Telegram-channel assured that it was a lie, writes Telegraf.

Apparently, the reason for such intimidation was the desire to sow panic among the population. There were messages in the local chat rooms calling to share information, which would supposedly give an opportunity not to run into trouble.

However, the authors of the #1region Telegram channel assured that all this is pure fake. Moreover, according to them, something like this has happened before: however, then it was about explosives in purses, banknotes, toys or poisonous samples of perfume.

‘We remind you, similar rumours with the same photo have appeared before in different regions of Russia. Now they have reached Belarus as well. For example, back in March, these fake warnings were sent out in local chat rooms of Homel region,’ stressed the authors of the channel.
