Latvia Extends Ban On Flights Near The Border With Belarus

Through October 19.

Riga said that the partial closure of Latvian airspace near the border with Belarus and Russia will remain in effect for at least another week.

"The ban on flights in the border airspace with Russia and Belarus at an altitude of up to 6 km in the evening and night hours has been extended until Sunday morning, October 19," the statement said

The ban was initially in effect until October 8, and then it was extended until October 12.
