Washington has warned Russia.
The world's largest warship, the USS Gerald Ford, recently entered the North Sea as a warning to Russia. No one publicly says who the crew considers to be the main enemy, but in the briefing room, a plastic model of the Russian Su hangs on a blackboard with identifying marks, writes BILD.
The aircraft carrier and 90 fighter jets are in these waters temporarily, but it is an unmistakable signal. "We train every day to be better than the enemy and defeat him - whoever he is. I'm just a captain and politics is handled by the president. But we are ready every day. Whatever the president calls for. Or NATO allies," said USS Gerald Ford Captain David Scarosi.
It was previously reported that if Russia launches a full-scale war against NATO, the Arctic will be in the spotlight. Due to Russia's geographic advantage and the negligence of the West, NATO is rapidly falling behind in the Arctic.
