Trump: US Will Give Tomahawk Missiles To Ukraine If Russia Doesn't Stop The War

Washington is ready to transfer offensive missiles to the AFU.

US President Donald Trump has said he is considering warning Russian dictator Vladimir Putin about his intention to allow the supply of Tomahawk missiles to Kiev if the war in Ukraine does not end.

The US president said he has not yet decided whether to provide the weapons. But acknowledged it would escalate the conflict.

"They would like to get the Tomahawk. It's a step forward. Frankly, I may have to talk to Russia about the Tomahawk," he said, adding that he informed Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky during a phone call.

Trump said he did not rule out addressing Putin with a warning.

"I can say, 'Look, if this war is not resolved, I will send them a Tomahawk.' Tomahawk is an incredible weapon, a very offensive weapon. And frankly, Russia doesn't need it," the U.S. president said.
