Ukrainian Border Guards Commented On The Sudden Check Of Combat Readiness Of The Belarusian Troops

The Belarusian direction remains potentially dangerous.

Despite the statements of dictator Lukashenko about the sudden check of combat readiness of the armed forces of Belarus, the Ukrainian side does not record active military activity near the state border, but continues to strengthen defensive positions in this direction.

A representative of the State Border Service Andrii Demchenko said this on TV air, "Ukrinform"

"Well, it's not the first time - they are checking combat readiness We remember that they recently held joint exercises with Russia," Demchenko said.

According to him, despite the lack of changes in the border area, the Belarusian direction remains potentially dangerous.

"Still this direction, despite everything - despite the pressure, despite the fact that Belarus continues to support Russia - we must soberly assess the situation. After all, this direction, I would like to note once again, is a threatening one for us. And we must continue to build up our defensive capabilities, so that the Ukrainian soldiers could counter any threat, if it comes from Belarus," stressed the representative of the State Security Service of Ukraine.
