Lukashenko Says He Is Ready To "make A Big Deal With The U.S."

The dictator complained about sanctions at a meeting with security forces.

Alexander Lukashenko convened a meeting on "the global international situation and the development of Belarusian-American relations" on October 14, his press service reported. In particular, he said he was ready to "make a big deal with the United States if the interests of Belarus are taken into account."

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, Lukashenko's chief of staff Dmitry Krutoy, State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Wolfovich, Prosecutor General Andrei Shved, and KGB Chairman Ivan Tertel.

In the course of the meeting, Lukashenko declared his readiness "to make a big deal with the United States if the interests of Belarus are taken into account."

- We will wait for their global proposal, a big deal, as they know how to say (they love these big deals). We are ready for it. We are ready to make a big deal with them. On one side of the scale are their questions, requests and demands, on the other side of the scale are our questions and demands. Do we decide? Let's decide. We're ready for it. Donald Trump's proposals in this regard I absolutely assess as OK. But our interests must be taken into account. And everything should be honest, as we once agreed with the Americans," said Lukashenko.

The usurper did not specify what issues and requirements the regime can put forward, and what - the U.S., the usurper did not specify.

Lukashenko believes that it is necessary to "work out a further algorithm of Belarusian-American relations for the future" and "more clearly define their priorities":

- It is also important to establish, as it is fashionable to say now, red lines, the crossing of which is unacceptable for us. It is important to take into account that our actions in no way harm not only Belarusian-Russian, but also Belarusian-Chinese relations, as well as our obligations to other friendly countries within the framework of Belarus' participation in the Eurasian integration associations.

He complained that sanctions of the West, including the U.S., are still in force against Belarus - "they seem to have moved away from it in words, but in practice - nothing of the sort."

We shall remind you that on September 11, at a meeting with the special envoy of the U.S. President John Cole Lukashenko expressed his readiness to discuss a "global deal" on the release of political prisoners. Since then, 52 people have been released, and the US has lifted sanctions on Belavia.

- If Donald insists that he is ready to take all these released people to him, let's try to work out a global deal, as Mr. Trump likes to do. A big deal. That's what he calls it. Let's discuss this issue as well. Although this issue is not the main one for me," said Lukashenko.
