Since the beginning of the year, the tax authorities have identified gray wages worth Br135.6 million. The Ministry of Taxes and Levies told about the results of the fight against wages in envelopes, writes "Mirror".

According to the Ministry of Taxes and Levies, the main source of payment of wages "in envelopes" was cash proceeds concealed from taxation.

In the framework of this preventive campaign, the tax authorities for nine months sent more than 54 thousand notices and messages with an invitation to voluntarily eliminate violations or provide explanations. According to these "letters of happiness" to the budget additionally accrued 45.9 million rubles of personal income tax.

In addition, after inspections, the tax authorities have established 702 facts of non-payment of personal income tax, and the total amount of liabilities amounted to 117.9 million rubles.
