Explosions Erupted In Saratov After Drone Strikes

On the night of October 2, drones attacked military and strategic facilities in the Saratov region of Russia. This was reported by Russian Telegram channels, writes Dialog.UA.
According to Telegram channels, residents of Saratov heard explosions and the work of air defense. Details are being specified. The video is published by the Telegram channel "Crimeanwind".
Saratov Region Governor Roman Busargin has not yet officially commented on the drone attack. He said only that there is a threat of UAVs.
At about 05:00 it became known that restrictions were introduced at Saratov airport. They were also imposed today at Astrakhan airport.
The restrictions at the airports were later lifted. The Russian Defense Ministry claims that on the night of October 2, 85 Ukrainian UAVs were allegedly destroyed over Russian regions.
It should be noted that in Saratov and Saratov region there are many military and strategic facilities that provide everything the Russian occupation army in Ukraine needs.
That is why the AFU strikes them. For example, on the night of August 10, 2025, Ukrainian drones attacked the Saratov oil refinery, which supplies fuel to the Russian army. As a result, fires started there. This refinery can process 7 million tons of oil annually. The AFU General Staff confirmed the strike on this strategic facility.
