Zelensky Arrived In Copenhagen For The European Community Summit

The Ukrainian president held a meeting with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

Today, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky arrived in Copenhagen to attend the European Political Community summit. He held a short meeting with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

It is noted that Zelensky has already visited the Bella Center complex, where the meeting is taking place, and held short talks with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

"We discussed several issues, in particular drones. Ukraine is helping Europe and Denmark, and we plan to strengthen cooperation. Technology is developing very quickly and drones are one of the key elements of hybrid warfare," Frederiksen emphasized.

The Ukrainian president is also expected to deliver a speech at the plenary part of the summit. The event in Copenhagen comes a day after an informal meeting of EU leaders, where Zelensky participated remotely.

European Political Community Summit

It is a meeting of heads of state and government from more than 40 European countries, set up as a platform to discuss security, economics and energy.

The initiative was founded in 2022 by French President Emmanuel Macron following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The format brings together EU countries and states outside the Union for coordination and strategic dialog.
