The U.S. president says he's ready to return to negotiations.
US President Donald Trump named key demands on China before resuming trade talks.
This is reported by Bloomberg.
Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump said the previous day that he would not allow China to use its influence on the strategic materials market as a tool of pressure.
The US president demands that China stop exporting fentanyl, restore purchases of US soybeans and refuse to manipulate the supply of rare earth metals. Only under such conditions, according to Donald Trump, is it possible to return to trade negotiations between the countries.
Separately, the US president noted the demand to stop fentanyl and its precursors from entering the US market, accusing China of insufficient control over the export of chemical components that contribute to the opioid crisis in the US.
