Almost Eight Thousand Companies Related To Belarusians Operate In Poland

More than half of them operate in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.

There are 7,841 companies in Poland, in which one of the shareholders (or ultimate beneficiaries) is a Belarusian company or an individual with Belarusian citizenship. Such data is provided by the Center for Economic Information, noted Most.

In 2025 alone (as of August 22), 575 Belarusian firms (spółek) have been registered.

Compared to previous years, the registration process has slowed down. To date, 1287 companies registered in 2024, 1544 that were founded in 2023 and 1638 in 2022 are operating. At that time, entrepreneurs were looking for new business opportunities after the imposition of sanctions on the Belarusian IT and transportation sectors.

More than half of the companies operate in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship (4,410), followed by two border regions: Podlaskie Voivodeship (872) and Lubelskie Voivodeship (516).

The majority of companies operate in the field of cargo transportation - 1,111. Software (456) and construction of residential and non-residential buildings (414) also remain large industries. Retail trade involves 275 companies.
