A special unit of the Center for Special Operations "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine has destroyed two Russian light-engine aircraft in the temporarily occupied territories. The occupiers used them to intercept Ukrainian drones.

The SBU reported this on Tuesday, October 21.

It is noted that the planes were placed by the Russians at local airfields.

According to the SBU, they were used to intercept and defeat long-range Ukrainian UAVs.

"Such work to 'clear' paths for our long-range drones provides uninterrupted cotton in the Russian rear," the memo said.
