In the Burlin district of the West Kazakhstan region over the past 24 hours "the fact of explosion of an unmanned aerial vehicle of unknown origin" was recorded. It may be a Russian attack drone - either way, now "verification measures are being carried out to establish the circumstances of the incident and the origin of the object."
The Kazakh Defense Ministry reported. The ministry hinted, without naming the aggressor country Russia directly, that it was its drone.
It is noted that the wreckage was found in a remote area "outside the zone of population." There were no casualties or material damage.

In Kazakhstan, an unidentified drone exploded near the border with Russia: the Defense Ministry hinted at foreign interference.
"The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan has taken additional measures to strengthen control over airspace and prevent unauthorized crossing of the state border by aerial objects. Consultations are underway with foreign partners who could potentially own these vehicles," the ministry said.
Burlin region (administrative center - the city of Uralsk) is located in the northwestern part of the country, in the basin of the middle reaches of the Ural River. It is a border region with Russia. It is Russia that is the "foreign partner" to which the drone in question may belong.
