Lithuania Closed The Border With Belarus Again

This is the third incident in the past few days.

Lithuania has again closed the border with Belarus. It was closed last night, October 25, reports the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service.

The border was closed because of suspicions that meteoprobes with smuggled cigarettes have arrived from our country again.

The border checkpoints "Miadininkai" and "Šalčininkai" on the border with Belarus reopened at 2 a.m. on October 26.

The Vilnius airport, which was closed for the same reason, also continued its work.

This is the third time in the past few days that Lithuania has closed the border with Belarus and suspended the work of airports because of weather probes with smuggled cigarettes.
