Zelensky Said About Heavy Fighting In Pokrovsk And On The Approaches To It

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has said that heavy fighting continues in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Region, and on the approaches to it.

"It is there, against Pokrovsk, that the Russians have concentrated their main strike group - and this is a significant number of the occupier's troops. Of course, this gives a difficult situation in Pokrovsk and in all neighboring districts as well. There are tough battles in the city, on the approaches to the city, there are DRGs in the city. It is difficult with logistics. But we must continue to destroy the occupier, we must continue to inflict as many losses as possible on the Russians," Zelensky said in video message on October 26.

He also noted that there was good news from paratroopers from the 82nd Bukovyna Brigade in the Pokrovskyi direction, in the Mirny Hrad community.

"And every such result in the Pokrovsky direction now is extremely difficult, but extremely important," the Ukrainian president emphasized.

Zelensky stated that the Russian army "failed to meet" all the deadlines set by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and the occupiers' offensive campaign plans for 10 months "have once again been ruined."
