Near Volchansk in the Chuguev district of Kharkiv region, Ukrainian fighters have captured an Iraqi citizen who was fighting on the side of the enemy. According to him, the Russians forced him to sign a contract with the army and then sent him to kill Ukrainians.
The video recording with the interrogation of the prisoner was released by the telegram channel "Mykolaiv Vanek". It is noted that he was taken captive by soldiers of the 120 separate brigade of territorial defense of the AFU.
The captured Iraqi citizen's name is Alimari Kamal Nabil Khalaf. He was born on July 9, 1999, in the city of Kirkuk. He said he came to Russia on a tourist visa and worked in a restaurant.
One day Russian police detained him because the man did not have a work visa and threatened to imprison him for up to 20 years for doing so. To avoid punishment, Alimari Kamal Nabil Khalafa was offered to sign a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry, which he agreed to.
"I was scared and didn't want to do it," he emphasized.
The Iraqi citizen admitted that shortly after signing the contract, he was sent on exercises. After 3-4 days, the Russians sent him to the base, where he spent 19 days learning to ride a motorcycle.
"All this time they (Russians - note) beat me, treated me cruelly, like an animal," the prisoner confessed.
