Ukraine And Croatia Agree On Joint Arms Production

Cooperation between Kyiv and Zagreb is reaching a new level.

Ukraine and Croatia have agreed to expand joint arms production. The countries signed a Letter of Intent on deepening defense-industrial cooperation.

Ukraine's Defense Minister Denis Shmygal reports this on Telegram.

"Thanked Croatia for providing 13 military aid packages worth more than 200 million euros. Soon we expect the 14th aid package and the 15th by the end of this year," Shmygal said during a meeting with Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Ivan Anusic.

According to him, Ukraine and Croatia will hold a joint industrial forum of defense manufacturers in early 2026.

In addition, the defense ministers of the two countries discussed joint participation in the SAFE mechanism and the possibility of Croatia joining the PURL initiative.

"We discussed the potential for participation in the initiative of joint production of FPV-drones. We see Croatia's interest in this possibility," the Ukrainian Defense Minister noted.

Smygal also noted Croatia's role in the activities of the "Mine Action Coalition." In particular, the Croatian company DOK-ING has already handed over 69 demining vehicles and also started production of spare parts on the territory of Ukraine.
