Unidentified Drones Flew Over NATO Military Base In Estonia

One of them was shot down.

Two drones of unknown origin were recorded flying near a military base in Estonia, one of them was shot down by the country's allied forces, Estonian publication Postimees

reports.

It is noted that two drones of unknown origin were found flying near the 2nd Infantry Brigade military base Reedo in southern Estonia on October 17.

A spokeswoman for the Estonian Armed Forces General Staff Liis Vaksmann said one of them was shot down by allied forces with a counter-rocket rifle.

Vaxmann said the armed forces and the Police and Border Guard Board tried to find the downed drone, but found nothing at the place where it was thought to have fallen.

"The armed forces do not comment in detail on security incidents," she added.

It is worth noting that Reedo is near the town of Viru, which is located about 45 kilometers from the border town of Pechory in Russia's Pskov region.
