As a result of a drone strike, the car of the head of the Belgorod district administration Tatiana Kruglyakova was burned down, the head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov reported in his Telegram channel.
"During a working trip along the border region, the car of the head of the Belgorod district administration Tatiana Petrovna Kruglyakova was chased by an enemy drone starting from Saltykovo.... And caught up with it in Yasnye Zorye," said the governor.
Gladkov added that the official and her driver managed to leave the car just before the drone hit. The car was completely burned.
The distance from the village of Saltykovo to the border with Ukraine is about 35 kilometers.
In mid-October, the head of the village of Mokraya Orlovka in the Graivoron district of Sergey Kulakov was injured in a drone attack on a car in the Belgorod region.
The man was diagnosed with a mine blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his head and leg.
