The suspect who testified against him has passed away.

On the morning of October 3, Russian billionaire Ibrahim Suleimanov, who, according to Kommersant, together with his son Rasul is the beneficiary of Sirena-Travel, the largest provider of IT solutions for the aviation industry, was detained in Moscow, The Moscow Times writes.

He is suspected of murder "of the past years," a source told TASS, without specifying which one. According to Shot, the billionaire, among other contract killings, is accused of organizing an attempted assassination attempt on the former head of the Federal Service for Financial Recovery and Bankruptcy Georgy Tal, which was committed in 2004. Tal was in charge of bankrupting the capital's airports and was shot by a hitman in the center of Moscow. The suspect in the execution of the murder was Darbishev, whom law enforcers detained two days ago.

After Suleymanov was detained, 55-year-old Abakar Darbishev, one of the figures in the investigation who testified against Suleymanov, died. According to the interlocutor, the suspect, who was detained in Odintsovo near Moscow with the participation of special forces on October 1, died of a "heart attack." When exactly the death occurred, he did not specify. According to "VChK-OGPU", it happened "immediately after the testimony - in the car of operatives near the building of the Central Administrative District Department of Internal Affairs." According to leaks cited by the channel, the now deceased was a leader of the so-called "Dagestan" organized crime group back in the 1990s.
