Russian Drone Killed French Journalist In Donbass

His Ukrainian colleague was wounded.

French journalist Anthony Lallican was killed and journalist of Kyiv Independent Georgy Ivanchenkov was wounded after an FPV drone attack by Russian occupants on October 3, writes New Voice.

The head of the National Union of Journalists (NUJU) Sergei Tomilenko reported this, citing representatives of the 4th separate heavy mechanized brigade of the AFU. In addition, the information was confirmed in the Ukrainian Association of Photographers (UAPP).

"Today, October 3, 2025, Antoni Lallikan was killed by a Russian FPV drone strike. Ukrainian journalist (Kyiv Independent publication, member of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers) Georgiy Ivanchenko was working with him and was injured. The tragic news is reported by the 4th separate heavy mechanized brigade," Tomilenko wrote.

According to NSJU sources, a Russian drone attacked journalists on the morning of October 3 near Druzhkivka, Donetsk region.

"The media workers were working in protective gear and accompanied by a press officer," Tomilenko wrote.
