The U.S. president announced an exchange of visits.
US President Donald Trump rated his meeting with Chinese leader Si Jinping at 12 points and promised to visit China.
He said this in a Clash Report.
After the meeting concluded on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in the city of Kenju, Donald Trump and Xi Jinping did not make any press statements.
Trump, however, promised that a statement would be released following the talks.
"But overall, I think on a scale of zero to 10, where 10 is the best, I would say the meeting was a 12. I think it was a 12," he said.
The US president also said he had agreed with Xi Jinping to visit China.
"I'll go to China in April and he'll come here sometime after that, either in Florida, Palm Beach, or Washington, D.C.," Trump noted.
Trump's meeting with Xi Jinping
Donald Trump met with Xi Jinping in South Korea for the first time since 2019.
The goal of the talks was primarily to address the acute economic standoff between the countries, which are considered giants in global trade.
The two sides were also expected to discuss possible ways to end the war in Ukraine.
The talks lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes - far less than the White House chief expected.
