In addition, he said, China has agreed to continue the flow of rare earth elements, critical minerals and magnets openly and freely.

"Importantly, China has strongly stated that they will work hard with us to stop the flow of fentanyl into our country. They will help us end the fentanyl crisis," the US leader added.

He also noted that China has agreed to begin the process of buying American energy.

"In fact, there could be a very large-scale deal to buy oil and gas from the Great State of Alaska," Trump emphasized.
