"The G7 continues to support Ukraine's energy sector recovery through direct financial assistance, credit lines, risk insurance, harmonization of policies and resources, and enabling long-term private sector investment. This supportive environment will facilitate efforts to urgently restore and stabilize critical infrastructure, as well as long-term reconstruction, while building investor confidence in the energy sector and other industries," the statement said.
It also noted that the G7 countries are enforcing energy-related sanctions against Russia, and they continue to strengthen measures to eliminate Russia's shadow tanker fleet to limit revenues for war.
