In the GUR disclosed data on the losses of the occupants.

With the help of various modifications of Magura marine drones, fighters of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine eliminated 9 vessels, 3 helicopters, 2 aircraft and 1 armored personnel carrier, as well as destroyed more than 100 Russian military. This was told in a commentary for the publication LIGA.net by the GSD.

The full list of destroyed Russian targets is as follows:

the Ivan Khurs reconnaissance ship, a 4,000-ton vessel of the Russians that had a large arsenal of technology for reconnaissance;

the Ivanovets missile boat;

the large landing ship Caesar Kunikov, which was carrying military cargo at the time of the strike;

the patrol ship "Sergei Kotov" with a Ka-29 helicopter on board;

the landing boat D-295 "Akula";

the landing boat D-144 "Serna" with an armored personnel carrier BTR-82 on board;

two speedboats of the "RIF-75" type;

the speedboat KS-701 "Tuna";

two Mi-8 helicopters;

two Su-30 fighters.

The GUR also noted that fighters of the Group13 unit damaged the Russian vessels Ivan Khurs and Sergei Kotov, three speedboats KS-701 Tuna and a Ka-27 helicopter.

Magura drone strikes: how many Russians the GUR managed to eliminate

Magura naval drones also inflicted significant personnel losses on the Russians. The GUR said that according to confirmed information, a total of 118 Russian military personnel were irrevocably eliminated with the help of drones and another 15 were wounded.

At the same time, as the agency noted, the actual number of eliminated occupants may be much higher, as the above data shows only confirmed losses in the Russian Federation.

What is known about Magura maritime drones

Magura are Ukrainian multipurpose unmanned drones that carry out surveillance, reconnaissance, patrolling, search and rescue, maritime security, and attacks on enemy targets. The drones were developed for the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GUR.

The development is considered the most effective in the Russian-Ukrainian war. The Magura was first unveiled at an exhibition in Istanbul in 2023, and the debut target hit by the drone was the aforementioned Ivan Khurs ship in May 2023.
